We are challenged by a dilemma we call the "Clothing Gap"--where clothing donations do not meet the need of our clients. For example, our average donor wears a ladies size 8, but our average client wears a size 16. Likewise, for men our average donor has a 36" waiste, but our clients usually need a 40" waist or larger. While we always need ALL sizes of clothing, we often must purchase clothing in the larger sizes to meet our client's needs.
